This December, Pretty Fun Things is embarking on a heartwarming mission in collaboration with The Calvin Preston Foundation to spread joy among pediatric oncology patients. We’re inviting all our friends, supporters, and event attendees to participate in our toy drive, aimed at brightening the holiday season for children undergoing cancer treatment at Kaiser Permanente Anaheim’s Pediatric Oncology Unit.
WHAT PFT IS DOING:
Throughout December, we are collecting new, unwrapped toys suitable for children aged 0-18. Please note, due to hygiene reasons, we’re focusing on non-stuffed animal toys this year.
Your donations will bring moments of happiness to children who are spending their holidays in hospital beds, undergoing treatment. Imagine the joy of unwrapping a new toy, even in the midst of medical challenges. Our goal is to create a festive atmosphere, providing these young patients with gifts that remind them of the magic of Christmas.
HOW WE CAN HELP:
Donate unwrapped toys suitable for children aged 0-18 (excluding stuffed animal toys)
Mail the toys to Pao (contact for mailing address) – You can ship from your home or from a 3rd party (i.e. Target, Amazon, etc.)
Bring the toys during a PFT event (i.e. Holiday Party)
Monetary Donation and PFT will purchase a toy on behalf of your donation
